A Nostalgic Italian Garden

I was thrilled when Alex discovered my work through her brother, a fellow wedding videographer—it was an instant connection. Her vision for an Italian villa–inspired wedding was stunning, filled with vibrant colors and thoughtfully custom-designed details that brought the entire day to life.

Set at Sonnenberg Gardens, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for her dream wedding. With expansive, manicured gardens and a historic mansion full of charm, it’s one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Canandaigua, New York.

Alex specifically loved the nostalgic aesthetic of Super 8 and vintage camcorder footage, which I wove throughout her wedding highlight film and full feature video. After receiving her films, she shared, “We were all crying the entire time. You captured the day and our love so perfectly. You are beyond talented, and we can see all the time, effort, and love you put into these videos. We especially loved all of the Super 8 clips—it made the day feel so nostalgic and cinematic.”
